What different points of view do we see in this story? The different points of view is that one of them is a black man who works hard everyday in the countryside and the other white man is a "civilized" person who lives really confortable.
Explain the reasons behind the miscommunication that occurred between these two men. The misscommunication of these two men is that they are separated by class, by education, by language, and by culture. They are separated by virtually every category one could identify. They live different lives and run in different circles.
The egyptian revolution of civil resistance. The Egyptian Revolution of 2011, that began on 25 January 2011, was mainly a campaign of non-violent civil resistance, which featured a series of demonstrations, marches, acts of civil disobedience and labor strikes. Millions of protesters from a variety of socio-economic and religious backgrounds demanded the overthrow of the regime of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
In the world there are so many different ways to think, culture makes us to think different. In that blog we could see two different cultures, like black or african people, who works really hard every day to get enough money to survive, and the white people who are "cult" and works running a company or simple employees. Two lives that for me they could be just stereotypes where we base our way to think about every detail in these two cultures.
Sometimes two cultures can live in the same place, but it doesn´t mean they understand each other. Miscommunication is really commun nowadays, just because is difficult to us, to catch the same idea we think, but in different order, i mean, culture has teach us that there´s just one way to think, and the other ones have different context or they are just wrong. Of course, many people have learn how to have an open mind and how to adapt or acept and idea from other culture; this allow us to explore, all the world´s minds without any probem. But the lack of open mind in the world´ve generates wars, problem, separation of nations or friends. That´s the reason why the blank and white man had problems, because they didn´t try to understand each other.
Different cultures, different ways to think, to talk and understand.
I agree, and I'd like to add, this is not only happening there, this is happening around all the world, this is worldwide phenomenon, that is destroying the society, and putting in power the "white person" (rich, corrupt, tyrant, the person with social power, etc.) above the "black person" (the minority, the poor, the civilian, etc.) And there is an eternal miscommunication, without a solution, or a solution that is a utopia.
In the document, Two Worlds Collide, write by Matt Mulka, we can see two persons, two persons from different worlds and different perspectives about it. One is a worker and the other is more a slave than a worker. One is a person that has the access to the money and his benefits that lives a life with all the facilities that money gives a person that has a good lifestyle. The other one, is a person, who only knows a hard-working lifestyle, very natural, with a very simple perspective about life (simple in the way that he, in this text, he doesn't use technology, and advances techniques to live), causing in some times, misunderstandings with the “white man” They’re from different cultures and lifestyles; they have different points of view, ways to live, and to do the things. But more contextualized, the author is showing the “superiority” of the white person over the black person, the superiority of the industrialized and globalized person over the worker and country person, the person in power and the person under the power, a person with an easy access to the world and a person “forgotten” by the world. This hole between then, looks like to be minimum, but irreparable finally, because they lifestyles would never match, they are opposite. They way to think would never match. Maybe they’re living in the same place but they will be never living together. In word of the same author: “These two men are separated by class, by education, by language, and by culture. They are separated by virtually every category one could identify. They live different lives and run in different circles. They always will. They try to understand each other but fail miserably. They try talking to each other but nothing changes. The white man knows this situation is temporary. One day, he will leave the black man behind. The black man will never leave. The black man has nowhere else to go. He has no one else to bother. He has no other choice. He doesn’t know any better. And deep down, despite his anger, despite his exasperation, the white man knows it. And he wishes he didn’t feel the way he does.”
To Barranquilla, Be chosen as the Cultural Capital of 2013, is a great achievement, not only for the people, is a great achievement for the mayoress Elsa Noguera and all her cabinet, and for the economy of the city, and even of the country. Be recognized as Cultural Capital is an honor to this country, a honor that deserves. Why? Well, Barranquilla has a multicultural background along its history, since this is the "Golden Door of Colombia" and here, in Barranquilla is where the entire tourists arrives, even, in the early days of Barranquilla, a lot of cultures settled here and that gave us a multifaceted culture. This beautiful culture and our traditions do an amazing first impression to the foreigners, and that was one of the determinants in this decision. Adding to it, here is human warmth that is impressive, that give the feeling like to do anything freely. And an impact of the global economy in this city and its projection were other points that helped in this decision Now, what kind of benefits will it give? Well, as any other international recognition, it would give an improved in the economy, as I written before. The people's business will increase in a huge way. There will be more jobs for the persons, and every important place would be more attractive for the tourist and the local. There could be new facilities for companies and Business men could see a good place to start a new industry. Whatever, the time would show what other benefits it would give
